This site is a creation of an audio engineer and designer that has been in the audio business for over 30 years. With a background in professional sound reinforcement he toured the country with several national music acts. In 1973, a retail facility was opened in the midwest for reconing speakers along with designing, engineering,  installing and selling audio systems. This was expanded by selling fine audio products to home owners. Custom home installations would begin by the late seventies. These projects would cover from as far south to Florida and as far northwest to Alaska. Many references available upon request.

PRIVACY and SECURITY POLICY:

We believe in the privacy and security needs of our customers. We hold our customers information in the strictest of confidence. We guarantee that at no time will we divulge our customer's information to anyone, for any reason! This information includes customer name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.  Information collected by Audio By Design is for order verifying, and shipping of customer orders only.

Audio By Design may use customer information for marketing purposes in order to notify customers of special sales, promotions, or new products. To be removed please email us with name and address, we will remove at that time.

RETURNS POLICY:

All products (unless noted on our site) are sold with the full manufacturers warranty. The warranty period and service varies by manufacturer and product. No returned merchandise will be accepted without a valid return authorization number on the shipping label(s). All returned merchandise must be in original carton with all original packaging and manufacturers included accessories. Missing accessories(remotes, all included cabling manuals etc..)will deem the transaction a final sale, and the unit is unreturnable. Merchandise initially shipped (double boxed) must be returned in like fashion. All merchandise warranty cards (if initially provided by the manufacturer) must be left blank. Original merchandise box must not be defaced or altered in any way. Merchandise initially returned as defective, whose defect cannot be verified, will incur a minimum $ 35.00 bench diagnostic fee, as well as a freight charge for return shipment.

Every shipment is packed with extreme care, always in brand new condition, except where noted on used/demo items. The following applies to NEW ITEMS ONLY: if you are unsatisfied with any item you purchased, we will take it back and credit you in full (minus shipping) towards a new item within the first 7 days. If the item you purchased proves to be defective within the first 30 days from original date of purchase, we will exchange it. After the initial 30 day period, please refer to the manufacturers guarantee located in your owners manual. We also honor the full manufacturers warranty if you cannot find a local service center in your area to service the product throughout the manufacturers warranty period. Purchaser is responsible for the initial shipping back to our warehouse. Properly returned defective merchandise will be replaced without restocking charge, and the replacement product will be shipped back at our exspense. CANCELLED ORDERS SUBJECT TO A 20% RESTOCKING CHARGE

PAYMENT METHODS:

We do not charge SALES TAX on orders shipped outside of OHIO. We ONLY accept Mastercard, Visa IN STORE. Money Orders, Cashiers Checks and Company Checks for Speaker Repairs. Note: we will only charge your credit card after your order has been shipped. For company checks please allow up to 15 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed.

We cannot guarrantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $ 30.00 fee on ALL RETURNED CHECKS.

SHIPPING METHODS:

At this time, we only offer UPS Ground Service (Residential) to continental US. With this, our shipping rates are calculated directly from UPS website. No additional charges will be applied to any order.
